As a wife and mom of two teenagers, Amy balances family, work and her small business. As the kids grew older, she felt she needed something more, and that is how Always Wordy started. Amy upcycles and updates old items to create something new for your home, with the added touch of a design decal. It could be a branch and birds on an old window or a reclaimed barn door with an inspiring quote. Either way, each piece is unique.
Amy’s Saturdays between June and September are spent at the St. Albert Farmers market selling her items. She has a website, but her one-of-a kind items move fast and hardly have time to be posted. Always Wordy was honoured when Lou Lou Magazine Blog did a feature on her Mo Nails in November.
Along with Always Wordy, Amy volunteers her time at her kids’ schools and is an official Mo Sista of Edmonton. Here she helps bring awareness to the Movember cause and uses her vinyl decals to help fundraise. Last year, they sold her Mo wine glasses. Each year she has a goal to be more successful than the last and it seems she is on the right track!
