The Wanderer Celebrates Edmonton’s Progressive, Visionary Business Women
The Wanderer Online is excited to announce their Top 100 Women in Business project. The goal of The Wanderer‘s Top 100 Women in Business is to showcase our city’s strongest female business professionals whose work, in their respective sectors, is making this city stronger, setting an example and raising the bar for all other professionals both established in and new to business roles in this city. Edmonton is a city of opportunity; these women have recognized that and are taking the lead in building its future. We are looking for the leaders. Women whose work is improving Edmonton business and the greater community. We aren’t judging the Top 100 based on their profit margins. This isn’t a competition and the final 100 will not be ranked. This is The Wanderer celebrating the positive things happening with women embarking on and leading big and small businesses in YEG.
Submission is open to the public; if you know any women who are business luminaries, and community builders, nominate them! We are looking for women from: communications/technology, energy/environment, infrastructure/development, retail, services, not-for-profit, and all other fields. The final 100 women will be chosen based equally on their strengths in the categories of: leadership, innovation, business development, and community outreach. Finalists will be selected by a panel of their peers, individuals whose business experience and expertise have positively impacted Edmonton in unique ways.
Submission deadline is August 15th, 2013 and the results of the project will be announced to the public on August 23rd, 2013. We look forward to revealing a final project that highlights a list of women with diverse business backgrounds and experiences. To nominate a business leader you know, submit here.
Please note that we are experiencing technical difficulties with our submission form. To submit a woman in business please email your nomination in a word document to firstname.lastname@example.org
