It is no secret that corporate law is dominated by major law firms. What is rare in these offices is a senior female partner. Eleanor is a pioneer for female lawyers in Alberta. Her exceptional legal skill stands for itself and has consequently allowed her to transcend the gender boundary to become one of the top litigators in Alberta. An exceptional litigator, Elanor’s legal skills were recognized with a Queen’s Counsel appointment in 2006, the top recognition a lawyer can receive in Alberta. But not only is Elanor a partner at a major legal law firm; she helped build the Edmonton Office of MacPherson Leslie Tyerman, which only opened in 2006, into one of the major corporate law firms in Edmonton. But she has also stayed involved in the Edmonton Community, previously sitting as a Governor of NAIT and working as an adjunct Clinical Professor, Pharmacy Ethics and Negligence Law at the U of A for 15 years.
