Edmonton-born city girl Jessica Clark is ready to make a difference in the city she loves. Some know her as the fashionable wardrobe stylist, others know her as the inspirational blogger from rotatingcompass.com, and many know her as one of the creatives from MadeinEDMTN. If you’ve heard of her before or are just hearing of her now, Jessica is one of Edmonton’s top young business entrepreneurs.
While growing up, Jessica always wanted to be doing something creative. She followed in her father’s footsteps and found passion within the arts, starting with photography. Jessica Clark is a graduate from the fashion merchandising program at Vancouver’s Blanche MacDonald Centre and a U of A Human Ecology student. She is driven by her ambitions as a stylist, blogger and event planner, with high hopes of making a strong impression on the Canadian fashion industry. Beginning her career in fashion at Edmonton’s very own WCFW stylist competition almost five years ago, she took her passion to Vancouver where she became an intern for Holt Renfrew’s PR and Special Events team. She has worked for New York and Toronto-based magazine The Lab Magazine as a branding coordinator, and then styled for music videos such as 604 Records’ “Last Chance” and “Fighting for Ithaca.”
You have likely seen her work with the Fringe’s ad campaign this summer. Her recent styling is all over the city in Georgie Magazine and in Calgary’s FREQ magazine. As an avid contributor to her community, Jessica’s goal is to inspire people both with her editorials in fashion and projects by MadeinEDTN, reminding us that dreams come true in your home city too.
