Lori Billey is a Founding Partner and CEO of RED The Agency, one of Western Canada’s fastest growing and largest independent marketing and advertising agencies. Her career began as an art director and creative director, then in 2001, she opened her own agency. Over that time, RED has grown its profile and client list to include major accounts with the Government of Alberta, EPCOR, OK Tire, the Edmonton Oilers, Edmonton International Airport, and the Western Canadian Lottery Commission. RED’s 12-year history boasts a healthy collection of international awards, but more importantly a legacy of measurable results for clients.
Lori is passionate about redefining the role that an advertising agency can play in helping to grow a client’s business. Rather than the old model of pushing mass messages out, Lori has driven change within the agency to put consumers at the center of the agency’s operations. She aims to create more engaging ways to connecting with highly targeted audiences. This culture of innovation now drives every aspect of the agency’s operation, from strategy to creative to digital experiences. Lori’s entrepreneurialism and desire to put Edmonton on the map inspires everyone around her, including the next generation of female leaders at RED – and her young daughter Teagan.
