Several months of planning are in the books, and the Idea Exposition is set to launch. On September 11, University of Alberta students will head to CAB 243 at 4:00 pm to see two engaging speakers dish on important issues of the day.
The first speaker is Michael Lynch, a sociology professor from Cornell and “Distinguished Visitor” to the U of A. He’s an expert in science and technology studies and recently penned a boon entitled Truth Machine: The Contentious History of DNA fingerprinting. For students interested in entering Law School next year, Lynch will provide you with an eye-opening look at how science and the law intersect.
