Nicole Rice: Founder, Sweet {Jolie}

Sweet {Jolie} was started 2.5 years ago as a small, home-based business striving to provide the Edmonton and area community with a new and stylish jewelry line. By combining my background in both Interior Design and Sales I’ve taken Sweet {Jolie} from a hobby to much more than I could ever have imagined for myself. Our customers come from all walks of life. I have had the honour of creating one-of-a-kind handmade pieces to commemorate events such as the birth of a new child to honouring the loss of a loved one.

I firmly believe that women deserve to feel their best every day. Whether that comes from a new pair of shoes, a fresh haircut or a new piece of jewelry, women should always carry themselves proudly and with confidence!!

I have had the honour to recently come into partnership with families in Chiapas, Mexico. I am working on an initiative with indigenous artisans to supply their handcrafted bracelets and earrings to my customers in North America. They craft beautiful jewelry using techniques dating back almost 4000 years. Networking with them will help provide them with daily necessities and support their local communities. I feel very strongly in giving back to the world around us, and try give back as often as I can. I am so proud of being able to facilitate this newest project with these incredible Mayan Artisans.

I look forward to the future and making beautiful statement pieces for the amazing customers that I have. Some of my customers have become real friends and I look forward to interacting with them on a daily basis, whether it be in person, at a show, or through social media.

Shopping is an experience more than it is a purchase and I am so blessed to be a part of that with my customers.
