Sanaa has a BA in English and Psychology, and is currently enrolled in the Fine Arts Program at MacEwan. She is a literature addict, cat lover, and is deeply passionate about making art and making space for voices of colour.
Zosia is in her 3rd year of medicine at the UofA with the dream of pursuing a career at the intersection of practice and policy. In her time off, she loves to travel and explore the art scene in every city she visits. Otherwise you'll find her skiing, reading, or checking out a new movie.
Neelam is in her third year of a BSc in Psychology and Women’s and Gender Studies at the UofA, with the dream of becoming an elementary school teacher. She loves many things deeply, her family, tea, and Rihanna being at the top of the list. While she’s waiting for the next Marvel movie to hit theatres, Neelam can be found at Rogers Place cheering on the Oilers or dancing to her favourite artists.
Kya is certified in Holistic Nutrition and is now striving for a BEd at the UofA. She wants to live in a world where everyone is celebrated, uplifted, and empowered everyday! Kya is a big believer in whole foods, daily movement, sustainability, skin care, and putting coconut oil in coffee. She loves telling stories and tends to give into beer pressure.
Gyan is a second-year Science student at the University of Alberta. She is passionate about teaching martial arts, social justice, and volunteering. In her free time, she enjoys events around the city with friends and spending time with her adorable mini Aussie puppy.
Carter is a 3rd year student at the University of Alberta completing a Combined BA in Native Studies/BSc in Environmental and Conservation Sciences. He is passionate about social and political issues, and environmental activism. In his free time, he enjoys going to concerts, and hiking through the river valley, but any time out of the city and in the forest, is always considered the best of times.
Karlee Mong is a second-year Fine Art student studying at MacEwan University who creates art both traditionally and digitally. She has exhibited her work in groups at The Gray Gallery and collaborated with TEDxMacEwanU "Truth Told" this past year. Her interests include nutrient, human anatomy and astrology.
Emily is currently in her final year of the Fine Arts program at MacEwan. Outside of school, you can find her enjoying a show at Bohemia or the Sewing Machine Factory. She has loved art since she could hold a pencil and her cat is her main muse!
