If I were to go,
Would your steady heart just break?
If I were to go,
Would you lie at night awake?
If I were to go,
Would your tears fall into stains?
If I were to go,
Would your body live in pains?
If I were to go,
Would you call God on your knees?
If I were to go,
Would She recognize your pleas?
If I were to go,
Would your life collapse in two?
If I were to go,
Would you question what you knew?
If I were to go,
Would your nights be filled with dreams?
If I were to go,
Would you wake from them in screams?
If I were to go,
Would you die to touch my face?
If I were to go,
Would you memorize each trace?
If I were to go,
Would you pray to have me back?
If I were to go,
Would you long for what you lack?
If I were to go,
Would you ache to hear my voice?
If I were to go,
Would your life still be a choice?
If I were to go,
Would you cry in search for me?
If I were to go,
Would you beg to be set free?
